H2tAlent 3rd General Assembly
Professor Hugo Gonçalves Silva, Coordinator of the H2tAlent Hydrogen Valley (left) with Professor Bradley P. Ladewig, Coordinator of the LuxHyVal Hydrogen Valley. The H2tALENT 3rd General Assembly in Lisbon gathered consortium partners for a structured review of the project’s overall status and the progress of each work package. Sessions covered management and coordination, territorial cohesion, industrial applications in the Sines backbone and across Alentejo, valley-wide optimization and monitoring, upscaling and upskilling, and dissemination and communication, with each team reflecting on achievements, bottlenecks, and priorities for the coming year.
Beyond reporting, the assembly created space for collective discussion around the governance, financing, market activation, technical, and infrastructure conditions needed to advance the Alentejo Green Hydrogen Valley. The programme also connected the project to wider hydrogen developments through lessons from the Basque Green Hydrogen Corridor, discussion of green hydrogen’s role in Portugal’s 2045 carbon-neutrality ambition, and a round table on the conditions required for long-term success.
